Morgan Star is an exceptional cow that has a lot to offer the Gelbvieh breed. If you could explain this female in one word it would be volume. She was the high selling female at the Man/Sask Gelbvieh Sale as a bred heifer. Due to her track record we have used her in our embryo transplant program. She has produced some very notable progeny in the past. Her first son SBR�2085L�MARCUS�P13 was a high selling bull for SBR Gelbvieh and went to see herd sire duties at V&V Farms. A daughter AWB�BIRCHS�MORGAN�144T was the high seller at the 2009 Gelbvieh Showcase sale for $5,000. We have had some great ET calves from her the last couple years including our top performing 2010 bull calf and junior herd sire AWB�BIRCHS�CAPTAIN 10X ET. Another AWB BIRCHS MORGAN 10Y ET was part of our show string in 2011 and made alot of friends at Agribition. She is sired by the breeds all time most used sire SLC�FREEDOM�178F�ET. This combined with her dam being from the Carlson Gelbvieh breeding program rounds out to make a maternal powerhouse.
